Sinema: Help Arizona Small Businesses, Tackle Rising Costs

May 19, 2022

WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema released the following statement on her vote to debate and amend the small business aid package and ensure it is responsibly paid for:

“Arizona restaurants and small businesses support jobs and bring communities together. Last year, I was proud to lead the bipartisan effort to pass our Restaurant Rescue Plan into law, saving countless small businesses and keeping workers employed in Arizona and around the country. As we emerge from the pandemic, our small businesses continue to need help, so the Senate should debate and amend today’s legislation to ensure it is responsibly paid for. Arizona families and small businesses face rising costs, and I’ll continue working across the aisle to address ongoing supply chain challenges, bring down inflation, and keep federal spending targeted and thoughtful.”
