Sinema Tours 161st Refueling Wing, Discusses Arizona Military Priorities Secured in Annual Defense Bill

WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema toured the Arizona Air National Guard 161st Refueling Wing and held a roundtable discussion with Arizona defense leaders on military priorities Sinema secured in the annual defense bill that was recently signed into law.
 
“The 161st Refueling Wing plays a critical role protecting our national security and military readiness by responding to missions around the world and here at home. We’ll continue supporting the operations of the 161st and ensuring Arizona servicemembers have the resources and support needed to keep Arizona and America safe and secure,” said Sinema.
 
Sinema protected resources for the Arizona Air National Guard 161st Refueling Wing in the annual defense bill that recently became law.
 
During the tour and discussion Sinema met with representatives from the Mesa Industry and Defense Council, West Valley Defense Alliance, Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, Northern Arizona Military Affairs Council, Yuma 50, Phoenix Air National Guard Patriots, and Fighter Country Partners hip as well as the Adjutant General of Arizona, Major General Muehlenbeck.
