APPLY FOR AN INTERNSHIP

Our Washington, D.C. office offers internships in the fall, spring, and summer. Internship hours can be flexible to accommodate individual schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.

In Washington, intern responsibilities include answering phones, assisting with correspondence, running errands, researching legislation for the Senator and legislative staff, and attending hearings and briefings on various issues. Interns learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a congressional office.

If you would like to be considered for a Spring 2021 Internship position in Senator Sinema’s Washington, D.C. office, please submit your materials to the email address indicated below. That being said, we cannot guarantee we will be able to offer internships in the spring. We will evaluate the local health situation in the Washington, D.C. area later this fall to determine if conditions permit us to offer in-person internships.

That being said, we cannot guarantee we will be able to offer internships in the spring. We will evaluate the statewide health situation in Arizona later this fall to determine if conditions permit us to offer in-person internships.
